I would like to have calendar entries made on one iPhone shared to another iPhone. For example, if I make a doctor's appointment, I would like to have the appointment show up in my wife's iPhone calendar. Anyone know how to accomplish this? We both have Mobile Me accounts.
The way I did it to circumvent MobileMe (Shhhhhh... don't tell Apple...) was to use Google calendar. My wife and I each have separate G-calendars, which both iPhones check OTA, and we have the Calendar view set to show all calendars. Each different calendar is assigned a different entry color so we know who scheduled what.
Works flawlessly. Within seconds entries on one phone appear on the other.
Unless we actually forget to actually put the event on the calendar... ahem.
Upgrade to the new MobileMe calendar using the web interface and then click on the round icon next to the calendar you want to share, choose Private Calendar and then send an e-mail to your wife. She will then be able to share that calendar and anything entered in it on either iPhone will appear on the other.
I can't quite get that to work, I can view both calendars (mine and my husband's) when online with gmail, but I don't see both calendars on my iPhone (just mine), what am I missing?
