iPad BROKEN SCREEN, UGhhh!!

My friends ipad dropped down and the screen is broken now!! Could it be replaced? Is it possible?

The abuse people get on this forum site is way out of order.... People ask simple questions and deserve a respectable answer... If the question is not to your liken then dont answer it..... I've seen way to much of this and to be honest its giving this site a bad name...
In answer to your question i think apple have about a 100 pound basic charge just to look at it... That was for a laptop, so i would guess its around the same price..... Do you have house or content insurance , maybe cheaper to make a claim .
