The iPod Nano and the Antenna

I am trying to find out (since the FM antenna is in the ear plug cord) if I replace the ear plugs that came with the Nano (6th Gen.) will that mean that I lose an antenna for the FM radio? I am looking at the Westone in-the-earphones.

Also, does anybody know of a good quality cover for the new little Nano that works good keeping sweat away and protects the iPod? I have found several but they all get bad reviews saying mostly that the Nano does not stay in the cover or pouch because either the cover is too flimsy or too small.

Thanks!

Meg-

You have helped me several times but it is nearly impossible to get you back to the thread. Maybe you do this on purpose, but just in case you o not know, some people might have follow up questions like I did, but I never could get you to return to the thread. That is an insight into how well you have helped me a few times.

So in your answer to this post, you are saying that the antenna for the new Nano is in any in-the-ear phones I purchase like the Westone 2? Is the Apple in-the-earphones with the volume and speaker (I think I read) something that the new Nano could benefit from? I am not sure how I would use it since I have not had an iPod.
