Question

How so u make cents symbol using iPad keyboard?

Is there no way to make a cents symbol and have to use the dollar sign like $.15 for 15 cents?

Mac Pro 3.0 GHz Quad-Core, iPad WiFi + 3G, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 30" HP LP3065 Monitor, 22" Cinema Display

hold down the dollar sign until you see the ¢ symbol. Then slide to it and release. Actually, the symbol should be highlighted in blue so you don't need to slide to it.

Just do 15c - people will understand the context.

If I hold down the dollar sign - all it does is types a whole row of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Absolutely doesn't work to get a cents sign!!!
