IPad and Nokia BH 905 Bluetooth Headset

I have iPad, with 4.2.1 installed, and Nokia BH 905 Headset but I can not get it to pair. (It pairs fine with my MacBook Pro.) Of course, followed the Nokia and Apple instruction manuals. Nada.

Tips and advice?

The iPad does not include the BT profile (HFP) necessary to use headsets. Sorry. See:

Thx but the BH905 has A2DP standard and chart shows it. Other ideas?

You are right, I looked at the manual and, as you said, it uses A2DP. Have your tried:
- resetting your iPad:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Resetting network settings (Settings>General>Reset

I was initially confused since a headset usually means one or two ear pieces and a mic.

I also have the Nokia BH-905 but no problems syncing to my iPad (also 4.2.1). You mention pairing to your Macbook Pro, is the headset still connected to your MBP when you're trying to pair to the iPad? The Nokia BH-905 only supports one AD2P profile at once (although you can pair to a phone afterwards on the HFP profile).

Other than that, hard reset everything and try again.
