Question

Home Sharing Quality

I just set up the home sharing network between my pc tower and my macbook and was wondering if the quality of the sound is identical or if it is reduced in any way in the home sharing process. I have a library of mostly lossless files and don't want any variance.

I notice no degradation but, audio quality can be quite personal. Why not just give it a try?

The quality doesn't seem to be comprised however the quality of your record listening experiemce might get comprised, depending on personal opinion.

I just tested with songs that sometimes flow into the next song. There is a delay when such a track flows into the next one using Home Sharing vs same tracks stored on my iPad.
