SMB Connections

I see there are lots of posting of people with issues with smb folders taking a long time to bring up the folder contents.I have several mac pros that all have the same issue with a snap server 410. It literally takes 1-2 minutes for it "index" the server. I do know that it does not actually index any shared connection by default. I was wondering if anyone has ever found a solution to this problem?? I have tried everything on the internet as far as changing the ack delay and internet sharing. Nothing works.
I still have Apple care on the macs so im working with them as well. But they are also telling me that Apple does not support thier own machines on a corporate network, but they are still working with me after i got rude with them. 🙂
