Everytime (for the past 3 days) that I have tried to connect to the iTunes store from my iPhone I get the error message:

'Cannot connect to the Store
A secure connection could not be established. Please check your Date & Time settings.'

Date & Time settings on both laptop (OS 10.5.8 running iTunes 10.1) and iPhone (3GS) appear to be fine.
Have tried re-syncing a number of times.
Shutting down laptop and phone hasn't worked either

What else should I be trying to fix this??
