Quicken Crashes at Startup

I was in Quicken 2007 and it crashed. When I reopened, it immediately crashed again, and gave me this error message:

I've tried shutting down and restarting, to no avail. I keep getting the same error message every time I try to open it. Can anyone helP?

Hi and Welcome to AD!
These forums are for Mac hardware and Apple software.

All I can offer is that you may need to reinstall Quicken '07 from it's disk. I have that version and had to do that when errors came up like yours.

The '07 site has a help and support button if you need further advice.

It's real hard to get any input from Intuit itself, so try the forums.

Also,
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.

You could have some directory corruption also. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.

After that Repair Permissions.

No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.
