Since they tried swapping drives there may be a problem with your old drive. One thing you could try is going to Other World Computing or other business and purchase a drive enclosure to install your old one in. Then you could plug it in to your MacBook and try and read it as an external drive.
How do you know your hard drive was not damaged? What happened that makes you think this?
Well the water was spilled on the mother board or something and I had the computer checked out by someone outside of apple who said the hard drive should be ok but I mean I honestly I have no idea. The guy at the apple store said that they couldn't get the computer to reboot with the new hard drive in. He also told me to get sata enclosure but honestly I have no idea what that is and or how that would work. thanks for your help!
Here's a SATA enclosure http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2-5-SATA-Laptop-Hard-Drive-USB-External-Enclosure-/39024 1288440?pt=PCCDrives_StorageInternal&hash=item5adc3180f8
You just install your hard drive in the enclosure and connect it to your MacBook by the USB cable.
