I did reset it, deleted airvideoenabler which is an app from cydia, reset again, delete pandora reinstall reset the iPad try again, turn off home sharing in iTunes and iPad and apple tv 2 put it back on and maybe more stuff. I found someone talking about an add on from XBMC for the atv2, so I guess that will be my next option. I let you know if it work, thanks for you support Meg st Clair.

If you're jail breaking your iPad and hacking your ATV, that could be part of the problem.

I can get Pandora to play uninterupted on my Mac for hours, yet, when I try to play on my ATV from my Iphone, it plays for a few minutes, then either stops or my Iphone reverts back to itself instead of "play on airplay"

Its interesting this problem is happening to others, although its likely by Jailbreaking you have messed something else up internally or software wise. Although even on an unjailbroken device that I have, it does not always work, and will change back. Its a matter of though I have 3 ipads and 2 iPhone 4s ill check some are connected while others are not connected via airplay, so the issue might be another device is connected. Try switching to airplane mode.. then switch off. That seemed to have fixed it for me pretty good. Also forget the current network your on and try again.

Lakers, This is the question I have, as well. I'd like to airplay Pandora to my Aiport Express speakers throughout the house from my MacBook Pro. I don't know if that's possible. Did you ever figure out how to do this?

    Mike & Lakers,

Unfortunately, you can not do this in the same simple fashion as you can in iTunes.  iTunes has really nice functionality to play multiple speakers with airplay; however, Apple does not allow you to do this outside of iTunes.  This is not a technical issue as much as it is a revenue issue -- since they do not have control over the other sources of audio, they can not monitize it ... so they are not enabling that funcationality outside thier revenue sources.

However, I have found a way to do this with the existing equipment in my house.  One VERY nice feature of the Apple TV is the audio will stream out of the HDMI and Optical Out port at the same time.  So I was able to send one connection to my AV Receiver (which has speakers A/B for indoor and outdoor) and another connection to a soundbar that I have in my living room.

It was an easy way to send the same signal to two differnt locations allowing me to have the same source (pandora playing on a iPad, iPhone 4s, iTouch 4th gen, or MBA  {I don't do it from the iMac because it is downstairs, but technically could})

(one added bonus is that both systems have a sub in two different locations and the music sounds really good when all sources are playing!)

Get the Mac app "Airfoil". It will let you do that.
