Reset the power management module and zapped the PRAM, no luck.

It is far more likely that a simple error was made in replacing your build-to-order logic board with a standard board. If you are unhappy with the repair for any reason, your first recourse should be to ask the Vendor to "make it right". The repair should have at least a 90-day warranty.
You can certainly complain to the Better Business Bureau if you like, but asking the Vendor to fix their error would be more productive.
Apple does not have a pervasive set of business practices intended to defraud you. Your compaint will not force them to change their business policies, because they are already equitable, if perhaps error-prone.
The first thing the BBB will ask is that you contact the vendor (Apple) and give them the opportunity to address your problem. Have you done that?
Yes I contacted Apple in parallel and the Apple Store sent me a modified receipt
of the repair upping the processor speed to 2.5 GHz.
Therefore, I have 2 receipts now of the repair (last year says 2.4 GHz)
and today it now says 2.5 GHz ... .but still in the system says 2.4GHz
Even on the Windows 8 side , it says 2.4 GHz
I have no idea what computer I got back now.
Maybe Apple is like the book 1984 (George Orwell)...
But on the Macbook it says 2.4 GHz in the About Mac section and the system information
I believe Apple has tried to cheat me ...
perhaps take advantage of my disability...
I am a little slow with these things.
The BBB complaint will go forward!
Thank you.
Good luck with that.
1984 is ancient history and a really silly comparison to draw.
Well good thing I caught it in 30 days!
I am a little slow with these things (my disability and all)
stupid is as stupid does
-- was that Forrest Gump?
I really don't care anymore.
I am about tired of Apple at this point....
iMac failed, Macbook failed, I get ripped off 0.1 GHz processor speed now...
what next?
But the free iPod I got is kind of nice...
iMovie has a problem I just made a review of that giving it 1 star among others.
Whatever!

Then why are you here at the technical support site.
Have a nice day.
Just to update you on Apple Care-less or more so.
For some odd reason, Apple Customer Relations is harassing err calling me again...
like last year , I have no idea why.
you too have a good day
How about I compare Apple to car salesmen or auto sales?
So I buy a 2.5 GHz machine and come out after repair with a 2.4 GHz machine.
Maybe Apple felt the value of the Macbook had depreciated like a car a decided
to use used, refurbished , outdated parts in its repair, which included downgrading
the processor speed.
Then they try to cover it up by sending me an updated repair receipt just today
saying 2.5 GHz. I just don't understand.... I may be disabled, but ...I will figure it
out eventually, I am just a little slow (brain thing)... someone called me silly among
other words here.
I am glad I figured it out in 30 days... whew! that was close!
I think there is some deception there
Good job Apple.
You complained your paperwork was wrong, so they fixed your paperwork.

Then make an appointment at the genius Bar, present your computer and your paperwork, and allow the Vendor to "make it right".
Otherwise, please sit down and be quiet -- this is not the complaint department.
There are only other Users like you here -- Apple makes no promise to read these forums, and NEVER responds here unless an initial posting goes unanswered for several days.
No, I complained and sent an image of what my Macbook showed in the
About This Mac also
This means internally the processor is 2.4 GHz as far as I can tell
and not 2.5 GHz as it was before.
Why would I not do both?
duh!?

but now it is covered until Summer 2014.
and a free iPod...
LIke Grant says,
This forum is sponsored by Apple, but it's about the worst place to complain about hardware problems; this isn't a chat list. The Apple Store or customer service are the best ways to talk with an Apple tech and address your issue.
Multiple serial posts on the same issue isn't the best way to fix your problem.

What's wrong about complaining anyway?
A forum supports complaints.
