iPhone compatible with USB 3.0?

Im trying to build a new computer the motherboard I like features USB 3.0 and only 1 USB 2.0 and its positioned in the back.

I know that USB are backwards compatible...But in my experience back with USB 1.0 getting plugged in to a USB 2.0...the 1.0 device run way slower compared if you actualy plugged it in a USB 1.0 input...so it was working on a usb 2.0 but sacrificed performance.

So Im asking if any of you who actualy have a USB 3.0 ports on your PC if theres some incompatibility issue...

Just as USB 1 devices can run only at USB 1 speed regardless of being plugged into a USB 2 port, similarly a USB 2 device such as an iPhone will only run at USB 2 speed even if plugged into a USB 3 port. There will be no way to get USB 3 speeds with any existing iPhone. Unless there's something wrong with your USB 3 port or its drivers, though, it should correctly accommodate any USB 2 device at USB 2 speeds.

Regards.

Thanks for the response...

Its fine if it just run on its right speed...Just like I said, I had a USB 1.0 Flash drive runs OK when plugged to a USB 1.0 port...But when I plugged it in a USB 2.0 port it ran even slower...

I dont want my iPhone 4 running slower than a USB 2.0 on a USB 3.0 port...cause I know Apple dont support USB 3.0 for thier devices yet...
