Xerox DocuCentre-II C3000 Not Printing from 10.6

Hi,

We have just gotten a Xerox DocuCentre-II C3000 and I have set it up easily to work with Windows XP, but I am having issues getting it working under Mac OS X (10.6).

I have tried the drivers from the Xerox website, and when I print it sends the job to the print queue, and then according to my Mac it prints fine. However, it doesn't end up printing at all.

In the photocopier, it comes up with the following error in its logs:
JCL Syntax Error, with error code 016-749 (if I remember correctly).

I cant seem to find any information that will make it work.

I have accounting/authentication turned off.
I have tried using both the generic PCL and Postscript drivers from Apple, and they work fine. The issue with those is that they don't support some of the functions of the photocopier, such as the stapler.

Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks.

Macbook Pro (Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.5)

The error would suggest something is not correct with the Mac driver you are using. Looking at the [Xerox Au web site|http://onlinesupport.fujixerox.com/setupDriverForm.do?ctry code=AU&lang_code=en&dlang=en&pid=DCIIC3000] there is a driver for 10.5/10.6. Are you using this driver?

The same page also shows a PPD installer. You could also look at using this if you cannot get the other driver to work. This will work like the Generic PS driver you tried previously but should give you all the finisher functions.
