MacPro4 kernel panic help: Graphics card issue?

Hello,

Would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. This error causes my Mac to be unresponsive and I have to do a hard power shut down each time. From the looks of it, it seems like it might be a problem with my graphics card? I have the latest driver for the NVidia GeForce GT 120, which came with the machine. Thanks in advance!

The log as follows:

It looks like it might be an error when the graphics driver goes to read NVRAM.

If you haven't done so already you can easily reset PRAM and NVRAM just by holding down 4 keys at Startup:
Command Option P R
and waiting until you have heard the chime four times.

To reset the SMC, use this article:

HT3964- Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

I've reset PRAM and the SMC. Verified Hard Disk (is ok), verified permissions (nothing to fix) and I'm still getting this random crash. Also did the Hardware Test and it didn't find anything. When I reboot, sometimes I get nothing but but a black screen. Sometimes there is no chime or the chime will repeat indefinitely.

When it happens, the screen will flicker and my entire desktop is frozen. I can still move my mouse, but can't click on anything. The last couple of crashes now, I didn't even get a log in Console showing what the error was.

Help please!

Hi William,

Applecare would've been my next step but I decided to try one last thing. I unplugged my mac and took it all apart, blew the dust off (general cleaning), plugged everything back in and it's been working fine ever since. Been about a week now. Not sure how that fixed it, but it looks like it did.

Thanks for the help!
