Purple Haze All Over Display and MacBook Pro Freezes

Last night the screen got a purple haze all over it and the MacBook Pro froze. Major hassle to get it back up. Finally all good. Well today it did the same thing and we can't get it started again. We did generate a report last night though on that crash.

Any ideas???

I had the same problem. I thought it was overheating because if I raised a little for better air flow it eased the problem. I took it to Probyte in Bunbury and he noticed that I only had every secend row of vertical pixles and replaced the monitor. That was not the problem. He had to replace the motherboard. Luckily I had extended warranty to cover the repair.
