How do I preorder with iBooks?

Is there a list of books that I have on preorder? If so, how can I find it?

I tried to preorder a book today, but I don't know if it went through. I'm afraid that if I try again that I will be charged twice when the ebook comes out. So how can I find a list of books that I've preordered?

iMac Quad Core i5, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

It would appear in your Purchases History I assume.

Edit: Never mind. After a frantic telephone conversation I managed to find the list of preorders I've done. The problem was this: Said list appears *in iTunes on my computer* and nowhere else. I couldn't find it on my iPad - I mean, you'd think that iBooks itself would list the preorders, since that's the app I used TO preorder, right? Anyway, it doesn't. Only iTunes on the computer does. So I found it.

Where do you find it? I can't find the books I pre ordered and I saw your solution and still couldn't find them... They didn't appear in my purchase history or in the book section....iBooks took my money though.

So when you preodered the book it charged you right away? I was pretty positive I preordered two books and I can't find them anywhere and paypal hasnt charged me yet. Do you think it safe to say I didnt actually preorder them and should try again? I mean when I did it they showed up on my bookshelf with a preorder tag on them and then the next time i went in they where gone...

No.
It may have a temporary hold placed on your card if you have entered a new credit card. This is simply to verify the account and will be removed once it has been verified.
If it's not in your purchase history, you have not purchased it.
