In addition, I got this reply from Sansa a few months ago:
"Thanks for emailing SanDisk Technical Support. It is our goal to make sure you have all the resources you need to get the most from your product.
STEP 1 - Drag and drop music files from the Mac to the Sansa player's MUSIC folder
STEP 2 - Create M3U playlist
1. Create a new txt document.
2. Rename the txt document to have an m3u file extension (example: test.m3u).
3. Open the m3u file with notepad, or a text editor.
4. Make the first line says #EXTM3U. Then add a few spaces
5. Start listing your music files (with extension), separated by a new line.
6. Exit the text editor and save the m3u file after you are finished.
STEP 3 - Drag and drop the M3U playlist to the Sansa player's MUSIC folder

I have this post by Chris CA

Create a playlist in iTunes.
In iTunes, select the playlist, select all the songs and drag them to the Sansa.
Then iTunes menu File -> Library -> Export playlist.
Select M3U and save the file.
On the desktop, drag the file to the Sansa (or just save it to the Sansa)."
Finally, there is a third party script called "itunes to SansaClip.scpt" that I downloaded off the Sansa Forums that presumably makes the interface easier. I haven't tried it.
