Hi,

I cannot get my 46 minute voice memo to transfer over to my pc.
Anyone know how to do that?

I have "include voice memos" checked in my sync music option, but it won't transfer over.

Please help,
Thanks.

A nice one, Windows 7, iPhone 3gs and iPhone 4

    Hi,

The Voice Memos are synced a new playlist in your iTunes library.

From the iPhone User Guide - http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_iOS4_UserGuide.pdf

    *Syncing Voice Memos*
iTunes syncs voice memos to your iTunes library when you connect iPhone to your computer. This lets you listen to voice memos on your computer and provides a backup if you delete them from iPhone.

Voice memos are synced to the Voice Memos playlist. iTunes creates the playlist if it doesn’t exist. When you sync voice memos to iTunes, they remain in the Voice Memos app until you delete them. If you delete a voice memo on iPhone, it isn’t deleted from the Voice Memos playlist in iTunes. However, if you delete a voice memo from iTunes, it is deleted from iPhone the next time you sync with iTunes.

You can sync the iTunes Voice Memos playlist to the iPod app on iPhone using the Music pane in iTunes.
Sync the Voice Memos playlist to iPhone:
1 Connect iPhone to your computer.
2 In iTunes, select iPhone in the Devices list.
3 Select Music at the top of the screen.
4 Select the “Include voice memos” checkbox and click Apply.

    Thank you.
I have done this twice and have no voice memo playlist.

Can you play the Voice Memo and/or email it to yourself from the iPhone?

Do you see any alert messages when syncing the iPhone? Try Resetting Warnings, to display any alerts that you may have previously chose to not display again. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2527 will walk you through the process.

If you can work with the Voice Memos on the iPhone and there aren't any sync warnings, try syncing them in a newly created user account.

I was able to grab a corrupt memo from my iPhone using the PhoneView demo.
