Is the Photo Library still there only, or are the photos selected to be transferred from your computer still in the Photo Library on your iPhone after deselecting Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by a sync?
the only way I can see is to open every single photo in my iphone and manualy delete, must be an easier way?
There is not a way to manually delete photos from the iPhone's Photo Library, which is where photos transferred from your computer are stored.
It is possible to manually delete photos from the iPhone's Camera Roll. Photos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are not included with the iPhone sync process and cannot be removed from the Camera Roll via the iTunes sync process. Photos in the Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera, which is not handled by iTunes. After the photos in the Camera Roll are imported by your computer, the photos can be deleted from the Camera Roll with whatever is used on your computer to import the photos with. On a Mac, this can be with iPhoto or with the Image Capture application. Both include an option to delete the photos from the Camera Roll after the import process is complete.
The same does not apply to the iPhone's Photo Library, which is where photos transferred from your computer are stored on the iPhone. Photos in the iPhone's Photo Library cannot be imported by your computer and can be deleted from the iPhone in the same way the photos were transferred from your computer to your iPhone - via the iTunes sync process.
