Numbers + Keynote + Pages = iWork crashes

Running iWork '09 on 1. generation MBA and Snow Leopard v10.6.5.

My iWork applications are crashing. Any help appreciated.

I have:
- verified my harddrive for errors.
- cleaned up the fonts.
- cleaned up with Onyx.
- reinstalled iWorks
- tried it with all other apps closed.

Fx Numbers stay open for a few seconds when opening a document then crashes with this report:
(when Keynote crashes it's with the same exception type and code). Don't remember if it's the same for pages as well, but it probably is.

If you used Software Update to apply all the updates delivered to macOs X 10.6, your operating system is incomplete.
The delta updater to 10.6.2 failed to apply some changes and the higher delta updater never apply them.
So, the unique way to get a complete up to date system is to apply the combo updater which install all the changes introduced since the first delivery of 10.6.

And of course, as pointed by badunit, if something failed during a delta upgrade, only the combo updater may repair the system.

It's not specific to the operating system.

After applying the iTunes delta update 10.1.1, some users where unable to use the app. The soluce was to download the complete iTunes 10.1.1

You do as you want but my rules are :
(1) wait at least six hours after the delivery of an update before applying it
(2) never install a delta update when a combo one is available. It's the case with major products, at least if like me, you wait six hours.
