launch a software after login invisiblly

Hi, I have the software "Path Finder". I set it hidden after login. But if I click the desktop, it shows up a window. I tried the following test:

---If I use cmd+H to hide the window, when I click the desktop, it shows up the window (of Paht Finder)

---If I use cmd+W to close the window, when I click the desktop, it doesn't show up the window

When I wanna do is : When login, launch the software Path Finder invisiblly (no window shows up on the desktop anytime. And if possible, no icon shows up on dock . ) But the invisible situation must be similar to cmd+W, not cmd+H, because I don't wanna the window show up when I just click the desktop.

I have tried AppleScript such as : keystroke "w" or close window 2. But these doesn't work because when the window is hidden, the above command have no effect on that window.

I am not sure if there is a solution by using Applescript. But I have some software, like Quickeys 4 can do this thing, namely launching quickeys after login automatically and no Quickeys window show up, only a menu icon at top-left of screen. (Set Preferences in Quickeys).

MacBookPro, Mac OS X (10.6.5), no

The following script will activate PathFinder so that it unhides. Then it will close the frontmost window. You can have this run at login.

delay 2 --number of seconds to wait. increase this number until you're sure that
--PathFinder will be fully open before proceeding
tell application "PathFinder" to activate
delay 0 --number of seconds to wait. add .5 or so here if you have problems
tell application "System Events"
keystroke "w" using command down
end tell

Good luck,
-Nate
