Replacement headphones for my iPod Nano 2nd generation

I need to replace my current set of headphones for my iPod Nano 2nd Generation. The device works great and the jack's in good condition.

I'm thinking about buying Apple In-Ear Headphone w/Remote and Mic. Apple says they're compatible with iPod Nano's back to the 4th generation (video). Specs show it's a four-conductor 3.5 mm audio jack.

Does anyone know whether they'll work with my iPod Nano 2nd generation?

Most any headphones are compatible with any iPod/mp3 player/computer/etc. The mainstream size that these take is the 3.5mm. What Apple is saying about the compatibility is dealing with the remote and mic. The remote will not work with iPods before the 4th gen. Nano (the one before the camera came out).

Quick answer: Yes. You will be able to *listen to music* with these.
