Ipod touch 2G White Screen problem

I was choosing albums in landscape mode in music player while i was enjoying some music. Suddenly some lines went along the screen and made the LCD fully white. but music play is still there.. and i even hear the sound of locking and unlocking.. I pressed home and sleep for doing a reset but after restart its same white screen. i did that 2 or 3 times again.. no answer.. Then i reset the firmware through DFU and itunes for 3 or 4 times. but still the problem is there.. Can anyone help me please??? Thank you
