Kensington KeyFolio

I work at ZAGG and thought I could shed some light on this. Unfortunately, this is a "feature" built into the iPad software. Whenever an external keyboard is attached, including Apple's keyboards, the auto cap turns off. The auto "." shortcut gets disabled as well. This could change on any future ios upgrade, but at the moment, we can't make the iPad do something it wasn't designed to do. This goes for us adding unique hotkeys, like an app switch button, or the use of a bletooth mouse. Again, Apple may change this someday, but for now, this is what we have.

Thanks for the clarification. It's not a big deal for me. I posted only because I figured that it was neither a Kensington fault nor a ZAGG fault.

If truth be told, I never liked the "." shortcut anyway so I'm just as happy that it's not there.

I don't like the slippery feel of the aluminum. That was the major goodie to the Apple case that I used prior to getting the ZAGGmate. I just placed an order for a ZAGG skin with a custom photo. If you're able, take a look at the close-up photo of the nose of a WW-II B-17.

I have contacted Kensington regarding an issue of the Kensington KeyFolio not Auto-captitalizing. No answer from them so far, have you had a similar issue of this?

I just bought the ZAGGmate with keyboard and it also does not auto-capitalize.
