Currently Being ModeratedDec 23, 2010 8:37 PM (in response to JM2005)Hello JM2005,
I'd like ask few quick questions.
Do you connect the ACD to ATI 5970 directly for one Monitor ?? Dyou use a converter or such ?
Will that also work on PC only computer ? not running bootcamp, ONLY Windows.
Thank you for the help, much appreciated.iMac 2007 and 2010, Mac OS X (10.6.5)
Currently Being ModeratedDec 28, 2010 5:07 PM (in response to eonov)I use my ACD27" @ 2560x1440 with the Atlona DP-400. I'm using it with a Windows only PC (No Bootcamp). But I have a nVidia GTX 260, some of the ATi 5xxx series cards are known to have problems.PC, Windows 7, NA

Currently Being ModeratedJan 9, 2011 6:57 AM (in response to JM2005)JM2005, do you have a problem when using only the one native mini display port on 5970 with one of the displays? I've changed my setup for a pc I'm building with cinema 27" and I want to use Radeon 5950 (which is basically the same card).

I had no issues using the mini-displyport on the 5970. So for one monitor it worked great. I returned the AT-DP400 and I am using a tri-crossfire setup now. 3x5870's, one of them being a 6 port mini-display card.
Currently Being ModeratedJan 19, 2011 2:23 AM (in response to JM2005)I have had good luck with the Atlona AT-HD620 to convert HDMI output from Xbox to a 27 inch LED cinema display and using a 1080p resolution. Details of how it works are summarized elsewhere. In my experience this is a superlative unit for 1080p HDMI input.Mac OS X (10.6.4), MacBook Pro
Currently Being ModeratedJan 22, 2011 6:25 AM (in response to bassounds7)hello together,

i have installed a
PowerColor HD 5750 Low Profile 1 GB
i use the dp400 adapter from atlona too
i can only set a resolution of 720p
but when i remove all ati drivers and use the standard vga graphic adapter i can choose a higher resolution of 19??x1440
and it works
but when i install the original driver of ati it doesnt work only 720p
but i use the dvi-i adapter on my graphic card.

I am also having this issue on a 12 core macpro, 5770 series, running bootcamp. I only get 1280 x 720.
Is there a fix, or do I have to take both monitors back to Apple and the dp400 back to Atlona?
Seems REALLY Stupid that Apple can't even support their own monitors on their OWN computer!

For what it is worth, same issue still exists and has been a year later. MP + Apple 5870 + Atlona = 3 LED displays running full resolution under Mac OS but Atlona powered monitor only displays up to 720p under Windwos.
