parallels/windows XP/installshield

Help - I have an accounts program that will only work with windows, (no mac version available), I have installed Parallels with Windows XP, but now when I try to load the program I have an error message that says 'the installshield engine (ikernel.exe) could not be installed,' and that I do not have the priveledges to copy files to the folder. I have tried to delete the Installlshield engine and undate it, but it will not let me delete. Is there any other way of install the program without using Installshield.
