iPhone 4 screws? any tips on how to remove worn screws?

First off, why would you remove the screws for? I don't think Apple would not do anything because it shows a sign that you tried to open the phone? These days iphone 4 does not come with the philip screws, but it comes with a (star) shaped screw type.

Take it to a Jeweler or Watchmaker.

Actually, all the internal component screws are Phillips rather than torx. That includes the 26 screws required to do a major disassembly. The two screws holding on the rear glass panel are also Phillips.

Well in fact the inside is philip but the outside that holds the rear panel is no longer philips, and is torx. Earlier models of iphone 4 did have philip screws on them (thus if you had one around JUne, July, August, September, most likely you will have philip) anything after October, all iphone 4 comes with a torx screws on them.

For the sake of accuracy here, the external screws on the iPhone 4 are now 5-point tamper-resistant screws. They are not stock torx.

Yea I think that's what I meant the 5 point one. I just didn't know what to call it.

Yes, they are now a tamper resistant screw...Apple don't want you DIY'ing your own phone.

The latest screws are "pentalobe" type:
