Elgato EyeTV + Mac Pro

Hi,

I have a Mac Pro (2008), Mac OS X 10.6.3, 6GB RAM, 1.5TB of HDD (500GB, 1TB)

I'm looking at getting the Elgato EyeTV DDT TV Tuner Stick; or alternately the Elgato EyeTV netstream DTT.

Has anyone used either of these product with a Mac Pro? Will the Mac's case cause interferrance with signal being sent to the unit?

Advice welcome.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Kappy,

I meant as in television signal interference. (due to the operation of the Mac's internal components. - like putting magnetic field near a transmitter.)

Sorry for any confusion. - Note: I managed to contact a friend after I made the post and got their opinion, they said the aluminum case of the Mac should prevent this from happening.

Thanks. Merry Christmas. 🙂

Regards,

Peter.
