IPad is going crazy, but I am in not in USA anymore

Hi there,

I got an IPad (32 GB 3G)when I was in USA and now the device is going crazy as the screen is touching itself "appropriately 😉" and it is getting over sensitive sometime like if I want to press a letter in the keyboard I just get my finger like 2 inches close to the screen and several letters will be pressed 5 or 6 times.

the issue now is that I am in Saudi Arabia and the IPad is not officially released in here so there is no warranty yet for it. I tried to contact Apple to get to know with to do but with no success.

anyone has any idea???

I'm thinking static electricity from extremely low humidity. You could soak the iPad in a bucket. 🙂

Seriously, perhaps some hand lotion? I'm guessing at this point but my bottom line is that it's a temporary problem.

Well, I did and the same issue is still there.

I do not think that my Ipad if angry with me as there is nothing personal between us. it is just sick.

I went through the internet and I found that must of the people who had this issue got there Ipad replaced by Apple. but again, there is not warranty for Apple in Saudi Arabia and I don't know what to do.

If you know somebody in a country that sells the iPad, the only thing you could do is to send the iPad to them and have them take the iPad in for repairs. Other than that your stuck...
