What, exactly, are you attempting to do? The iPad does not have the BT profile necessary to connect to a computer. There are some apps in the app store that will let you do file transfer over BT.

Yes, you can connect BT keyboard to an iPad. However, not all of them seem to work. Perhaps if you posted back with the exact make and model of your keyboard, someone could offer some suggesstions. Also, use the Search discussions box up and to the right and search for other threads about BT keyboards.

There is no way (and no real need) to delete the message.

Best of luck.

Now it is my turn to say sorry I do not understand. I have only one problem and that is I have this message on my PC which tells me "A Bluetooth serial failure has occurred and a failure to open RFCOMM serial channel."
my keyboard used with my PC is perfect and that goes for this one on the iPad. AllIwish to find out is how do I enable my device with the required authentication as I previously mentioned I have looked in the Hardware contents under Bluetooth. T he only place I can see that requires this is on the trackpad Incomming serial port 1
Which is named Bluetooth -PDA-Sync RFCOMM Channel 3. I do hope this information will be of assistance.
