Albums won't show up under Genre

Question

Albums won't show up under Genre

Although clearly marked, certain of my albums/songs will not show up under Genre. They are present if I search by album, artist and song. I have tried re-catagorizing them all to no avail. This makes it harder to find this music and I can't shuffle the full genre. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

Check this genre in iTunes and look very closely.

Does the same genre appear twice? If so, make sure there isn't a leading space in the text because the iPod appears to sort differently to iTunes. So while the two "genres" may be adjacent in iTunes, they could be separated on the iPod and you're not seeeing the second spelling because it's off the screen.
