Copy files from ipad to itunes

The hard disk of my computer crashed. I want to transfer photos, music and documents from my ipad to my computer. How can I do that

Dell latitude, Windows XP

Thank you for your answer, Carolyn,
I lost all information on my hard disk. The photos and documents (mainly pdfs) were synchronized with my ipad. I can still use them in my ipad, but I am afraid that next time I synchorize my ipad with the computer (with a new hard disk), the photos and docuemnts will dissapear.
Not only that, but the songs that I bougth in the apple store have used 1 of the 5 "copies" to sync with the new hard disk (it is the same computer!)

I have a similar situation. Laptop HDD died and I just got a new one. My iPad has all my songs and files and some of it copied over but the songs I didnt buy on itunes wont copy over. Any way you can help so I dont loose all those songs?

There are anumber of apps ,I use phone view which you run on your computer and it mounts the ipad just like a disk drive and you can copy your files from the ipad to your computer (it also works computer to ipad) .
