I downloaded the Kindle app and want to buy an ebook, but when I go to purchase it it says that I don't have a registered device. I have tried everything it has said to get it registered (sign in on your account with your device/ipad) and nothing. Any suggestions? I keep going in circles with this and it is giving me a headache!
I have also tried creating a new amazon account from my iPad.
Thanks for the responses. I did everything I could, but what I ended up having to do was 'deregister' it and then 're-register' it. I clicked the 'i', and followed the instructions to de-register and then re-entered my info and voila! There is was working just fine.
I don't remember how I did it but have you tried logging into your Kindle account on Amazon? Seems to me that was involved. If nothing else, I seem to recall they have pretty clear directions on how to register new devices.
I'm fairly sure that I registered it on my iPad via the Kindle app - by clicking on the 'i' at the bottom right of the Kindle app screen, then going into 'Settings > Register thie device', and then typing in my Amazon email address and password.
