Cell phone connection opens up iphoto application

Whenever I attach my Motorola Droid phone to the computer using USB port, iPhoto automatically opens up, even when I'm not synching photos. I guess Mac thinks it's a camera. Is there any way to change settings so that iphoto only opens up when a camera is attached and not a phone? I'm using iPhoto '08.
