Mail headers & attachments sometimes corrupt after moving requiring rebuild

My email account is hosted with Google Apps and I have two folders (or labels) set up under my inbox called Action and Archive. I access email purely over IMAP using Apple Mail 4.4 in OS X 10.6.5 and manually move all mail into one of the subfolders after reading it.

After moving the mail, occasionally I find that the mail headers (From, Subject, Date, To, etc) are missing from the top of the message display window, and any attachments are just showing as garbled text underneath the body of the email (the same as they normally appear when you go to +View > Message > Raw Source+ )

When I log into Gmail and view the same message, everything appears normally. It's not until I go to +Mailbox > Rebuild+ in Apple Mail that the problem is fixed. It becomes very frustrating having to rebuild the mailbox every time this happens, especially on my Archive folder or when there is a large attachment.

I've taken some screenshots to hopefully explain better (personal information blurred out).

Corrupt message in the mailbox. Subject and Sender display fine, but attachment is not displayed.

Corrupt message view, not scrolled down. Missing main headers and displaying all parts of the message (plain text version, HTML version & attachments) in their raw form.

Corrupt message view, scrolled down to attachment.

Raw Source view ( +View > Message > Raw Source+ ) looks identical except displayed with a monospaced font and links are not automatically parsed.

Message list after rebuilding the mailbox, attachments now showing correctly.

Message after rebuilding, headers displaying properly and attachments accessible again.

Any solution to this, I'm having the same problem.

IMAP in mail: message arrives ok but when I move the message to a sub-folder (archive) the message losses it's headers and becomes raw source. Re-building solves the problem, but that is impracticle. Doesn't seem to happen to every message, but can't find a pattern yet.

Thanks.
