Viber problem on iPhone 3G

hi guys i have iPhone 3G with version 3.1.3 i downloaded viber on my iphone but when i open it asks me to put ur number and click continue ...when i put my number and click continue doesnt do anything i know im doing it right cause it founds my country code directly and asking to put my number only ..... i deleted and downloaded it many times still same problem and i tried downloading with iTunes too same again, my brother has 3G S with version 4.1 its working very normal.
can anyone help plz

hi viber team

i have 3g iphone mobile. i download viber 2.2.1.207 version but I have a problem regarding my iphone3g 4.2.1 i already installed viber i can call and txt other iphone user but when they are calling/texting on me i cant see anything appear in my screen (no ring heard) that i have incoming call/text but thay said my iphone3g is ringing when they call, i have only miscall when i check it, my iphone3g is already jailbreak what should I do, is there some way how to fix it? and i m using good wi-fi..! and i follow your "how to enable viber" gudiline but i have no this kinds of options in my iphone...! plz help me

Please note that Viber does not officially support iPhone 3 and below nor iOS4.2 and below at this stage, and this is probably the reason for the problems you're experiencing. We are planning to roll back Viber in AppStore only for iPhone3 and iOS4.2 users, so that they can use an older version of Viber, that's compatible with their phone, and we hope to complete this step as soon as possible.

By now we all know that there is not such "intention" from the viber team to roll back the old version. This is just a forum that allow us to cry and keep fake hopes alive...

Rolling back the version for iPhone3 users is still on our checklist, however this move is not as easy as it may seem. We need to adapt Viber's version to iPhone 3 users, and test to make sure it works with the newer versions (meaning, that it works when using it with users with all other phones, and all other operating system versions).


We never guaranteed a timeframe to do it, we merely informed our users that we plan to complete this move in the future. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but it is important to note that Viber is certainly not the only service that is not compatible with iPhone3 (and iOS 4.1 and below).


As we said, we're doing our best to finish this step as soon as we can. We'll let you know when we have news.

I am not able to download viber on my 3G iphone because the pop up sign appears stating that it requires an update...I think the newer version of viber is not compatible with my phone ..

i had an old version of viber installed on my phone but by mistake it got deleted... It was working fine and i was enjoying using it..


pliz could you make an old version of viber available to us on app store..
