It could be that the network you are connected to is blocking Viber's traffic.

    1. First, please try uninstalling and reinstalling Viber when connecting to a few different WiFi networks (in order to pinpoint the source of the problem). What are the results?

    2. Also, please make sure the following ports are enabled ("forwarded") on your routers or firewalls:

    TCP: 5242 + 4244

    UDP: 5243 + 9785

(if you are not sure how to enable ports, you may contact your router manufacturer)

Unfortunately this isn't simply a mistake of putting Viber out of AppStore - the problem is that iPhone3's internal characteristics are currently incompatible with the latest Viber features and system requirements.
What we plan to do in the future is to roll back the version for iPhone3, making older versions of Viber available for those users. We unfortunately still don't know when exactly this move would be completed, and once we have news we'll let you know.

Hi, I am as everybody, no way to reinstall "viber " on my 3G.

I am certain that the problem does not come from "Viber" but from Apple, who ordered to lock the applications on the 3G, to oblige us to buy the new products.

It is a scandal. The problem is the same with Skype.

    Cordially

    @Peraca -

We are doing our best to complete this move of rolling back Viber for iPhone3 users as soon as possible. Remember that it is also in our interest to allow our iPhone3 fans use Viber normally, but unfortunately this is not such an easy task.

As we said, once we have news we will let you know.

I accidentally deleted VIBER from my Iphone 3G. I would like to re-install it, is that possible, because there is a new version of VIBER and I can not upgrade my software? Could you return the old version of VIBER to the Apple App Store, please? Thank you in advance! Sincerely Mike

Please note that Viber does not officially support iPhone 3 and below nor iOS4.2 and below at this stage, and this is probably the reason for the problems you're experiencing. We are planning to roll back Viber in AppStore only for iPhone3 and iOS4.2 users, so that they can use an older version of Viber, that's compatible with their phone, and we hope to complete this step as soon as possible.

We apologize for the temporary inconvenience, and we recommend that you stay tuned for updates and news through AppStore or via our official Facebook page.

    HO! HO! HO!

Thank you for your kind letter, Peraca,

I propose you for Christmas, either a good Apple quite freshly picked, or a small robot.

    And still merry Christmas.
