    Hello,

    I have iphone 3gs with ios 4.2.1 and i was talled by your support that the new version that was released a few days ago will fix the problem but it didnt, i still can hear the other side but the can't hear me.

    Please advise a solution.

    Hmm...

     

    1. Did you make sure both sides are using the latest version of Viber?

    2. Did you try testing a Viber call with another person? Maybe it's a specific problem with your friend's phone.

    3. Did you try using Viber on a different Wifi network in order to identify the problem?

    Hi,

    The person i'm trying to talk with is my husband and he has iphone 4 ios 4.3.1 and i can hear him perfect. The same is when i'm talking with my father he has iphone 4 as well and when i talk with him from husband iphone we can have a perfect conversation but from my phone i can only hear him but he can't heae mw.

    So if the viber app doesn't support iphone 3gs please let me kniw so i'll stop trying.

    Viber should support iPhone 3Gs just fine, otherwise I would have told you.

    I also have horrible problems with viber since new version. I just downloaded again(!) the new version today and it still doesn't work. Also I deleted it and reinstalled. My contacts are all gone and I can't make viber calls. What is going on?? The App is totally non-functional! Can I please download the old, actually-working version? I'm on a 3G.

    @smkdinesh - Viber does not officially support iPhone 3G at this stage, as stated in our website (we support iPhone 3Gs and above), and that is probably the reason for the problems you are experiencing. We plan to look into these problems at some point, but unfortunately at this stage we still don't know when it will be fixed

     

    Meanwhile, you might be able to help us identify the source of the problem by sending us logs from your Jailbroken iPhone. Would you be interested in that? If so, please email us at ittai@viber.com

     

    @mirthyartgirl - unfortunately rolling back to the older version is not possible at this stage. Please read our response above regarding iPhone 3G.

    I have a 3G with ios 5.0, no jailbreak.  My messages are deleted as soon as I leave the screen.  I have to re-enter the code and my number each time I open viber.  There is no message history.  Same on the ipad.  Please fix!

    @marshlaguna - we suspect that this bug (deleted messages) is caused only when an iPhone is password-locked. We hope that this problem is solved in our upcoming Viber 2.1.3

     

    At any rate - please note that Viber does not officially support iPhone 3G at this stage, as stated in our website (we support iPhone 3Gs and above), and that is probably another the reason for the problems you are experiencing. We are looking into the problem at the moment, and we hope to come up with a solution soon.

    My iPhone was not password locked. Also, I never downloaded a previous version.  My first app was after the update.

    OK, thank you for the information.

     

    As I explained, soon version 2.1.3 will be available. Once it is, delete the your current version and installed the new one from AppStore. If the problem exists even there, then unfortunately it is probably iPhone3G related.

     

    I'd appreciate if you could fill me in on the results.

    I have the same problem too. I did an update two days ago and now I can't use Viber. How do I solve this problem?Prior to this it was working perfectly for months without any problems at all.

    Otherwise, please provide me with the details of your phone and iOS.
