Connecting the Elgato EyeHome Wireless Media Player

I have a mini with AirPort Extreme and have just purchased a wireless version of the EyeHome. I've heard a few stories about 'nightmare' connections and wonder if anyone can offer a few tips to avoid pitfalls, etc. I've started looking into what's required, and am sure will sort the install, but would appreciate any advice any current users can offer.

Do you have a wireless router?

Avoid congesting the wireless bandwidth, so no WDS, no large internal file transfers, avoid any 802.11b clients and potential sources of interference.

Having said that I have an eyeHome with WDS and 802.11b clients on my network!

Completed the install this morning, not without a few issues (mainly the packaged wireless bridge).
