i5 Shake?

Is anybody using an i5 or i7 MacBook Pro with Shake?
Does it work OK?

Can't answer you directly, but Shake even worked on my old G4 1.25GHz eMac, so there should be no problems with a MBP.

Do you actually have Shake and want to know whether the new processors will give a worthwhile performance boost?

I believe Apple Stores give one to one tuition on Shake and most other apps.

They should have Shake installed or be able to do so (it only takes a minute) and give you a free demo if you explain your interest.

Thanks, Ian. I've been using Shake for a few years,
but I am considering purchasing a new MacBook Pro.
Just wondering if anyone in the Shake community had some real-world experience.

I doubt the Apple Store would let me install Shake and test it,
and even so, I wouldn't have enough time to test it properly.

Anybody with an i5 or i7 machine out there?

I've got Shake running on an i7 and have not noticed anything wrong, but I've not put it thru anything difficult - mostly plugin prototyping...
