Panasonic GH2 video files not compatible

iMovie (and Final Cut) cannot import the mts video files from the latest video cam by Panasonic the GH2

BTW: RAW photos also dont import in iPhoto..

Apple is not ready for the GH2 yet.... Hoping for an update soon

MacBook; 24" and 17" Intel iMacs; eMac, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

I found that the motion jpeg setting is importable; the mts avchd files not. I use Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter to create quicktime files from the mts files. A pitty iMovie cant handle the GH2 avchd format.

If it's not too late, I found a solution to import 24 P movies from a Panasonic GH2 Full HD to my macintosh.
you only need a software which is called "ClipWrap" It is very easy to use and it transform your MTS files in apple Prores files that your mac can read. (precisely, my Final cut pro, beacause for I Movie, I really don't care)
