iPhone 4 lock button stuck! Help

i was using my phone normally, like i do every single day, and all of a sudden the top lock button just gets stuck... i dont know what to do or how to fix this. if anyone else has had this same problem please let me know what you did or if this is even fixable by myself. thank you!

Unless this can be fixed by selecting the on/off or sleep/wake button to get it unstuck, doing anything else such as opening up the iPhone yourself or by a 3rd party will void the warranty if this is discovered or can be determined by Apple with a warranty claim.

The iPhone includes a one year warranty. You can call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

Hi. Just wandering why there is a padlock with an arrow around it on my phone. It's in the top right hand corner next to the battery.
