Maximum RAM for MBP 2.53GHz Model A1278?

I have a Macbook Pro 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo, shipped with 4GB 1067MHz DDR3. Running 10.6.5. I just wanted to confirm I can upgrade it to 8GB (2X4GB)? Also, I can just buy any laptop memory that is 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) right? I don't need Apple specific memory? Thanks.

Thanks, according to that site I should be good.

Supports 1066 MHz PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM.
Maximum RAM: 8 GB
