App Store Stuck on Loading

I have iphone 3g and lately when i try to open the app store on the iphone using 3g connection the application gets stuck on loading. However if i try to open the application when using wifi the application runs perfectly...i dont think this is a carrier issue coz my friends, who are supported by the same carrier can access the application just fine using 3g. Any Suggestions as to why this issue might be happening?
