How to change Apple ID on iPad?

Hi.

I finally fixed this issues, but can't tell you how I did. I just restored my iPad severals times (it didn't work the first time, so I did it maybe 5 times and it finally work).

Another thing, check that your device is not associated with the older account (check on the link posted by Demo).

About iTunes I don't know sorry. That's all I can tell to help you.

I had this same issue... and after reading all these posts, decided to go and try myself... and think.

I went to the app store portion of settings, then it still had my old AppleID, I clicked on the ID and then pressed "Sign out" then sign in, it will still have the old account, so click cancel or whatever option and proceed to sign in, pressing "choose existing account" and enter the NEW details, and click ok.

Should work fine now, mine updated and is good to go!

It doesn't allow you to replace the auto filled ID. Only to enter password or cancel. I am having a similar issue as I activated it from someone else's computer so now there ID is the auto fill. Very frustrating

hi can you please help me? i made an apple id and its already okay . but whenever i try to download an applicatin from app store and choose the "use existing apple id" , it always says that my id was not yet used in itunes .. but whenever i also try to download in itunes it says the same response .. what should i do? how can i have my apple id working with my ipad2 ?? does it mean that i have to download an application that is not free ?? please help 😟 thanks

Hi guys ive done every suggested act but nothing changed. I cant update my apps even the one which i downloaded with my new id. The old id kept popping up and ive got no idea. Please help

now I just done all that this page has said, no luck, hubby has just come in and has shown me what to do, so I am sharing.

for Ipad1 all updates shown make list delete all, shut down Ipad, reboot, reinstall one by one and you will have your new apple ID comes up, do let me know if this is succsesful for you

I suggest you do not do this.

In addition to it not being needed, all the data for those app swill be removed.

Please delete all the previously installed apps and then try to login with the new ID to re install and install new apps. It works only then.
