Transfer music from old ipod to new touch?

I just got a new ipod touch and I want to transfer all my music from my old ipod to the new touch. But the problem is that my itunes library did not have the same songs as my old ipod. My old ipod had a bunch of songs, then my itunes library just had some songs. How do I get all the music from my old ipod to my new touch?

How did you get your music on the ipod in the first place?

They should have come from itunes and should, therefore be on your itunes on your computer.

The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing File>Transfer Purchases
