Well that's still mystery to me. You might have already revealed secret but just one more time tell me.

    Duuno what the "secret" is.

It works for some but not for others.

Man that miracle has happened to me too. I'm feeling so blessfull now.

"Maybe not for you but for me it simply does work." Well thanks for the helpful post. I will try and see if that resolves this problem. Is that setting in a menu, a .plst file, or iTunes preferences?

Your posts are not cute, helpful, or relevent to people experiencing this issue. Can you possibly refrain from posting unless you have a solution to offer?

    Grow up.

Is there some reason you keep responding to my posts if you don't like what I have to say?

And please keep it relevant. Links to entering your CC info for the Apple online store have nothing to do with iTunes.

Since you are looking for "cute" responses, you'll likely have to go elsewhere. I was asked a question and I responded.

When someone posts, "It simply doens't work. There is absouletly no none option"

this is obviously incorrect so the post is extremely relevant to this discussion.

Still work fine here. I just did it again.

Existing account never used in iTunes.

    Here's what I did.

    1. Select Store in iTunes.
    2. Make sure not signed in. (It says Sign In at top right of iTunes)
    3. Find anything free in the iTunes store.
    4. Click on Free to download it.
    5. Enter existing AppleID and password (never used in iTunes).
    6. Re-enter username and password to verify billing & payment info.
    7. Select None as the Payment Type.

Try going to Apples ID Website to sort it.... https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/

I find it easier to create a non credit card account by buying an itunes voucher and in itunes click on redeem

    Hello everyone!

I found a really good tutorial on youtube on how to create a free account without a credit card  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inBrf81t5hc&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLinJFo5 E_TmCGQFPlYpvzYQ

the problem is when i click "create apple ID" It gives me this error "Please contact itunes support to complete this transaction"

this is really annoying. i hope this gets fixed ASAP.

No credit card! No free apps for you!

    Typical apple ...

    What's typical?

Why are you creating a new AppleID?

Did you try to get a free app (as previously explained)?

  • Witnezz Level 1 Level 1

    typical [ˈtɪpɪkəl]

    adj

Considered to be an example of some repetative undesirable trait.

    "that is typical of you!"

I am not creating an apple ID, i am signing into an existing 10 year old

account, that has up untill now worked fine.

    1. Logged out of existing, functional, apple id account on my iPad

so someone else can take a look at it.

    2. Couple hours later navigate to app store.

    3. click to download and install free app.

And now the window pops up saying this account has never been used in the app store,

I have to re-enable my account, agree to the TOS again and, as you can see, enter CC

info because there is no "none"

Just tried to use the app store for the first time with an existing account and it clearly forces you to enter a CC number. There is no "none" option.

You mean it clearly forces you specifically.
