iPhone dropped, now no service/sound/connection to iTunes/charge

I dropped my iPhone about 5 feet (it was in a hard plastic case), and it still turns on and so forth, but now there's no service, no sound, it doesn't hold a charge, won't connect to iTunes, and it's making faint buzzing and ticking noises.

I've reset the phone, and ejected/put the SIM card back in, but to no avail.

I'm not on warranty and a month away from an upgrade with AT&T. I don't want to pay an extra 200 bucks to upgrade to 3GS when I'm just a month away. Any recommendations?

Original iPhone, iPhone OS 3.1.3
