Send photos from PC to iPhone

Transferring photos from your computer is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.

Ha! what if it doesn't work?? I have tried following all the directions listed in the iPhone Manual (and in this Dummies link: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-import-pictures-into-your-iphone0.h tml). iTunes even tells me that the sync and photo transfer was successful, but the photos I tried to import do not show up ANYWHERE on my iPhone. I used to have a 2G and when I'd sync with iTunes new albums would get created & photos added even if I wasn't trying to add photos. Now with my iPhone4, I can't add photos from my PC for love nor money. If they're getting synced to my iPhone4, where the heck are they? They are NOT showing up in my Camera Roll or Photos Album-I have the same # of Albums (1) & photos as before the sync.

Oh, and as you can tell from the message thread in the link (http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-import-pictures-into-your-iphone0.h tml), many others have had this problem.
